Five FAI Unismuh Makassar Faculty Members Achieve Grant Funding from the Ministry of Education and Technology 2026

A remarkable achievement has come from the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) of Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar. Five outstanding lecturers from the faculty successfully passed the strict selection process and won grants from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) for the 2026 Research and Community Service Program. This success is a tangible demonstration of the high commitment of the Unismuh academic community in promoting academic innovation and providing real contributions to the wider community.

As a follow-up to this remarkable achievement, the five selected lecturers officially signed the funding contracts on Thursday, June 4, 2026. The signing ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere in the I-Gift Room, 2nd Floor, Iqra Tower Building, Unismuh Makassar Campus. This moment is a milestone for the academics to immediately implement the research and community service programs they have designed to provide solutions in their respective fields.

The Dean of FAI Unismuh Makassar expressed his highest appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the lecturers who have successfully promoted the faculty's name at the national level. The five lecturers are divided into three funding categories. For the Regular Fundamental Research category, Dr. Hasanuddin, SE, Sy., ME, Dr. Mursyid Fikri, S.Pd. I., M.H, and Dr. Alamsyah, S. Pd. I., MH won. Meanwhile, the Emerging Research category was won by Jusmaliah, SH., M. Pd, and the Community Service category was successfully won by Siti Walida Mustamin, S. Pd, M. Si.

This success is expected to inspire collaborative and competitive spirit among lecturers at the FAI of Unismuh Makassar to continue improving the quality of scientific works and community service. With this funding, innovative research is expected to emerge that is not only theoretically relevant but also provides practical contributions to address the challenges of the times, and strengthen Unismuh Makassar's reputation as an excellent university in research and community service in Indonesia.
